Alfonso Soriano had 2 base hits and 4 RBI as the Dominican Republicans
defeated the hapless Burbank Tigers by the score of 10 to 3 at Pro Player
Stadium.
Dominican brought 6 runs across the plate in the top of the 6th inning. The
critical plate appearance was by Soriano who quieted the home crowd when he
doubled clearing all three ducks off the pond. Dominican had 8 hits for the
afternoon.
Dustin Hermanson(3-2) went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win.
